We are seeking a highly motivated, energized Sales Individual with a winning spirit and team attitude. The Strategic Sales incumbent applies telemarketing and professional selling skills in order to secure business from new and existing customer. This involves establishing a thorough knowledge of the customer’s business requirements and their technical needs. This key member works collaboratively both in and outside the organization to achieve sales plan for the region and to insure a mutual outcome is achieved for the customer and GTS. This position will also represent GTS at trade shows and related commercial activities. In this capacity, the Strategic Salesperson will identify new business opportunities, solidify existing customer relationships and assess market and competitive trends.
The Strategic Sales incumbent will have heavy phone interaction for developing new business opportunities while maintaining an existing customer base. This position requires tenacity and the ability to overcome obstacles while striving to achieve goals.
The incumbent will need to be an advanced learner and able to quickly incorporate new concepts related to Internet Marketing as methodologies and systems change quickly.
Required Skills:
• Strong communication and services sales skills required
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in technology and/or technical production with Web related projects
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to form customer relationships
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to travel up to 40%
Preferred Skills:
• 1-3 years experience in SEO and/or SEM (both organic and Pay-per-Click)
• Advanced knowledge and analysis capabilities in the following disciplines:
o Keyword Research and Targeting
o Site Content Optimization
o Internal and External Linking
o Search Engine and Directory Submissions
o Traffic Analytics and Trending
