1) Chicago in December, wind chill factor, forget about it, that sounds like a great time!
2) One of my favorite speakers, Eric Ward, will be there and we’re doing a promotion for one of my clients and I’d love to be there for it
3) My brother Curtis lives there;)
4) I will share my education with my fellow SEMPDX members
5) I’ve researched fun facts about the area, did you know that Chicago produced the first McDonald’s, the first cafeteria and the first stainless steel building as well as being the home of the Gay Games VII Sports and Cultural Festival
6) I’m located in Hood River, OR so I’d be proudly representing Oregon (go sempdx!)
7) I’m a Ducks fan so I’d be proudly representing U of O (don’t share this with Ben Lloyd from Amplify Interactive since he’s a beavers fan:)
8) I’m a snappy dresser
9) I’m in New York at the SMX Social Media show today and I know my fellow search marketers would be glad to see me at SES Chicago (because I either owe them drinks or cash from the texas hold em game)
10) I am a good student, I always sit in the front row and, though I’ve been going to SES San Jose since 2001, I’d really love to attend SES Chicago!
