I am an online customer acquisition specialist with 15 years of experience applying my academic training in engineering and AI to online customer acquisition campaigns (focusing on SEO, content marketing, web analytics and the application of AI to marketing).
I began my career working as an engineer, most notably building high performance computers for the National Security Agency. Then, I was recruited by an MIT-based start-up to solve analytical marketing problems. As a marketer, I have developed search marketing strategies for Fortune 500 companies and venture-backed startups.
I am a speaker at industry conferences, including Hubspot’s Inbound, Content Marketing World and AdWord, Affiliate Summit and Agents of Change. I have trained marketing professionals from TripAdvisor, Microsoft, HubSpot, Digitas and Proctor & Gamble.
I am the founding instructor at the Digital Marketing Leadership Program and Boston’s Ecommerce Executive Forum. I have taught digital marketing workshops at MIT’s Enterprise Forum, Harvard University, Northeastern and Boston University.
Currently, I run Fire&Spark, the only content agency using an SEO for Revenue approach to generate organic sales – not just traffic.
