President – Heddle Marketing
Tim is President of Heddle Marketing and has been working for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the past year building their new ecommerce web site, infrastructure, marketing programs and team from the ground up. Tim began his career with search pioneers Inktomi, Fast Search & Transfer, Overture and Yahoo as a product manager, marketer and general manager. During his 7 years at Yahoo, Tim led the Search Product Team, the Search Monetization and Search Distribution team, the Front Page Editorial and Content team and the Marketplace/Commerce properties. Tim has worked deeply in many marketing channels such as organic search, paid search, social, email and display advertising from the perspectives of both a product builder as well as a marketer.Tim is a well known speaker in the Internet Marketing Industry having spoken and keynoted at conferences such as SMX, Marketing Land Summit, OMMA, SXSW, SEMPDX, SEOktoberfest, Affiliate Summit, SES/Clickz Live and Pubcon. Tim has written regularly for the Data Driven Thinking column on Adexchanger as well as publications such as Clickz, MarketingLand and SearchEngineLand. Tim received his BA from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and his MBA, Cum Laude, in Entrepreneurship & Strategy from Babson. In his free time Tim enjoys golfing, skiing and playing soccer.
